When should you take the Chrysanthemum flower?
When you experience wind-heat induced common cold, headache, or dizziness; as well as inflammation of the eyes or blurred vision, the Chrysanthemum will help to ease these symptoms.
Do take note that it is not advisable to consume this herb on a frequent basis due to its cooling properties. This is especially so for the following type of people:
Has weak/cold stomach
Having diarrhea,
Pregnant mothers
What to make?
With that being said, there are many things you can experiment with the Chrysanthemum flower. For example, we tried making Honey Chrysanthemum Jelly with the yellow chrysanthemum buds from Thye Shan and it tastes really great! Comment below
Grandmalotus's Tired Eyes reliever was our personal favorite out of their entire tea series. The sweet floral scent from the white chrysanthemum and osmanthus flower really gave us a pleasant surprise. If you wish to try it out or check out their other tea series, click here.
Where to get it?
For some good quality yellow Chrysanthemum, we highly recommend Thye Shan's yellow Chrysanthemum buds. The Chrysanthemum buds are so fragrant that you'll only need to put in 7 to 8 buds to make a good cup of Chrysanthemum tea. We have included the product links if you are interested to get them from Thye Shan's official store or Shopee store, Otherwise, you may also find them readily at your nearby supermarket or medical halls.
Gonna be naggy again to emphasize that while the Chrysanthemum has many benefits, moderate consumption is highly advised. Remember, seeking balance within is our ultimate aim!
